We currently have a vacancy for a Tester fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will work remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team.
Your tasks:
- Definition of test plans and test cases on the ServiceNow platform;
- Construction of test scenarios and scripts;
- Execution of tests;
- Test coordination;
- Reporting of test results.
Requirements
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with 11 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Strong knowledge of various testing methodologies including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT);
- Proficiency in designing and executing detailed test cases and test plans that cover both common and edge-case scenarios;
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and isolating defects in a complex enterprise software environment like ServiceNow;
- Ability to analyze requirements and design specifications to create thorough test plans and cases;
- Experience in working within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and review meetings;
- Experience in the test data preparation;
- Comprehensive understanding of ServiceNow's architecture and core functionalities across various modules such as Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), IT Service Management (ITSM) and more;
- Familiarity with the user interface and navigation within ServiceNow, enabling the tester to efficiently test various scenarios;
- Familiarity with tools and techniques for managing test cases and defects, such as JIRA or SPM;
- Understanding of user experience principles to ensure that the application is not only functional but also user-friendly and aligned with best practices in UX design;
- Excellent command of the English language, French is an asset.
