Information Security Engineer

What You’ll be doing

• Design and manage implementation of secure network configurations for server infrastructure, public cloud and containerized environments
• Maintain current security tools and manage the implementation and integration of new ones
• Perform security validation and implement hardening process across various systems
• Provide IT-staff with all necessary support and guidance on secure hardening practices.

What we look for in you:

• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, etc.) and familiarity with threat detection/prevention techniques at each network level
• Practical experience in securing network infrastructure and configurations (firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, etc.)
• Expertise in hardening of operating systems and network services across different platforms (Windows, Linux, MacOS)
• Practical experience securing containerized environment and orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Practical experience securing public clouds
• Experience in implementing, maintaining and configuring security tools (e.g. EDR, VM, MDM, PAM systems, etc.)
• Proficient in scripting and automation (Python, Bash)

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in implementing Zero Trust architecture
• Hands-on experience with network penetration testing
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform)
• Familiarity with IaC approach and security implications
