ABOUT THE ROLE
The Scrum Master II for Entegral is responsible for leading 2 or more self-organizing teams, facilitating the Kanban & Scrum processes using agile methodology, managing the product delivery execution, removing impediments to progress and assessing and coaching the scrum team to improve efficiency. The Scrum Master II serves the important role of bridging the gap between conceptualizing and actioning product development ideas within a team. The Scrum Master supports the Product Managers with managing the product backlog and is dedicated to maintaining a healthy and creative development process to deliver world class SaaS software.

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with job posting disclosure requirements in California, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, and Washington.
Pay Range: [$87,600.00 - $107,000.00]
Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Depending on the position, compensation may also include bonuses.

Responsibilities
- Guide and coach the Agile Team on how to use Kanban/Scrum methodology to exceed customer expectations in Product Operating Model; assess the maturity of the Kanban/Scrum team and coach towards continuous improvement in Product delivery execution.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies; Provide support to the development team using servant style leadership and leading by example
- Facilitate discussion, the decision making, conflict resolution and work completion avoiding coercion, assigning or dictating work
- Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution or judgement with an emphasis on problem solving
- Manage the Kanban/Scrum process; leverage tools, such as JIRA, to run a healthy team utilizing capacity planning, burndown charts, velocity tracking as well as effective team and executive dashboards; Assist with internal and external communication and improving transparency
- Remove impediments or guide the team to identify the right personnel or upskilling opportunities to remove roadblocks
- Create, manage, analyze and report the performance metrics through tools like Jira, Looker Studio, etc. Analyze trends and drive performance improvements and
- Support and educate the Product Manager and development teams on refining and managing the product backlog.
- Coach on Agile/Kanban best practices; ensure Agile processes are followed
- Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
- Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required:
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Must be at least 18 years of age
Bachelor's Degree
Must be located in one of the following locations: AZ, CA, FL, IL, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA or WI
Certification - First level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM, Team Kanban Practioner)
- 2+ years experience demonstrating proven ability to consistently deliver toward the strategic product increment, build/mold autonomous teams and drive actions through empirical data analysis
- 2+ years experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, JIRA) for communication, work management and reporting
- 3+ years experience applying a wide variety of well documented patterns and techniques for filling intentional gaps in the Scrum/Kanban approach (burndown techniques, work in progress limits, handling bugs, etc.)
- 3+ years experience performing the role of Scrum Master or Kanban Practitioner in a software development environment
- 3+ years experience working in a Software as a Service (SAAS) environment
- 1+ years experience within multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, organizations, cultures, etc.)
- 4+ years experience in an IT department in a variety of roles which could include: Business Analyst, Project Manager, and/or Engineer
