Fullstack Application Support Engineer (RoR/Oracle)

We are seeking a Fullstack Application Support Engineer to join our growing team. This role will provide hands-on support for production systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability across web applications, databases, and cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 2–4 years of experience in application support or fullstack development.
• Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails (RoR) and NodeJS.
• Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Experience supporting applications on major cloud providers (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in production environments.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

System Maintenance and Support

• Monitor and maintain production systems built on Ruby on Rails (RoR) and NodeJS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, bugs, and bottlenecks.
• Execute timely resolution of support tickets and escalated issues.

Database Management

• Debug and optimize queries across relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Oracle).
• Preserve data consistency and performance across environments.
• Provide ongoing database infrastructure support aligned with system requirements.

Cloud Infrastructure

• Support applications hosted on Azure Services (IaaS and PaaS).
• Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure system uptime, scalability, and effective disaster recovery procedures.

Documentation & Collaboration

• Work closely with business stakeholders to analyze and resolve issues.
• Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and support procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve support processes.
