Role Overview

The Head of Portfolio Strategy & Solutions will guide EnquBio’s full suite of services, ensuring scientific excellence, strategic alignment, and market competitiveness. This leader will drive innovation, integrate new technologies, and collaborate with clients to design workflows that reduce risk, streamline costs, and accelerate timelines.

Responsibilities

• Shape and optimize EnquBio’s service portfolio across multiple therapeutic areas.
• Partner with clients to design tailored solutions aligned with their R&D goals.
• Integrate AI/ML, automation, and data insights to strengthen pre-clinical workflows.
• Identify emerging technologies and expand service offerings.
• Foster collaboration between scientific and commercial teams for successful delivery.
• Build partnerships that reinforce EnquBio’s reputation as a trusted CRO partner.
• Contribute to business development by supporting proposal design, client presentations, and scientific positioning.
• Expand service offerings by scouting and integrating new technologies (ML/AI, automation, advanced imaging, novel in vivo models).
• Represent EnquBio externally at conferences, symposia, and client meetings to strengthen visibility and thought leadership.
• Provide scientific and strategic input to marketing teams for website content, social media posts, and email campaigns that drive awareness and lead generation.
• Champion a customer-centric approach by deeply understanding client needs, ensuring tailored solutions and exceptional service delivery throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Leverage deep understanding of customer experience to ensure EnquBio’s services are intuitive, responsive, and aligned with client expectations -driving satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. (preferred) or M.S. in Biology, Pharmacology, Immunology, or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience in pre-clinical drug discovery, CRO services, or biotech/pharma R&D.
• Proven success in managing service portfolios and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of translational science and regulatory pathways.
• Experience leveraging ML/AI or automation in R&D is highly desirable.
• Exceptional leadership and client relationship skills.
