United States onlyWe are on the lookout for a seasoned SAP Cloud Analytics Consultant to lead our initiative in transforming data into actionable insights and strategic solutions. This role will begin as part-time (1-5 hours per week) with expectation to increase over time as we establish our service offerings and client base. The successful candidate will be an expert in SAP Cloud Analytics, SAP Datasphere/Data Warehousing Cloud, SAP Embedded Modeling, and other cloud vendor products, with a proven track record of leading technical teams and projects to success. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, understanding of SAP systems (like S/4HANA), data architecture principles, integration methodologies, and security frameworks. The individual is expected to provide leadership, technical guidance, and actionable insights to ensure optimized solutions, efficient data flows, and robust security measures within the organization's SAP ecosystem. Additionally, the role demands effective communication skills to translate technical complexities into understandable terms for business counterparts and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Solution Development:
- Architect and implement strategic SAP Analytics solutions, including SAP Analytics Suite, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere/Data Warehousing Cloud, and SAP Embedded Modeling.
- Gather and analyze requirements, model client data, key performance indicators, and/or market data using a broad set of analytical tools and techniques to develop quantitative and qualitative business insights and improve decision-making for our customers.
- Deliver the full life cycle of SAP analytics solutions (Discovery, Prepare, Design, Build, Deploy and Support).
- Estimate and ensure timely delivery for the project deliverables.
- Work closely with our functional team to conduct business process analyses and requirements gathering, recommending SAP solutions that enhance data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Expertise / Knowledge of SAC predictive capabilities, augmented analytics, forecasting, Smart Assist, Smart Predict, Smart Discovery, creating story canvasses, advanced story designing, blending data, formulas, cross calculations, input controls, linked analysis.
Project Leadership and Management:
- Oversee SAP Analytics implementation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Lead a cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and innovation to surpass project goals.
Risk Management and Quality Assurance:
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks with strategic planning to ensure project success.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality for all project deliverables, aligning with both our expectations and those of our clients.
Continuous Learning and Improvement:
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in SAP Cloud Analytics and related technologies, integrating new tools and methodologies to enhance capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Deep expertise in SAP Cloud Analytics, SAP Datasphere/Data Warehousing Cloud, and related SAP analytics technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with a knack for data analysis, collection, organization, and dissemination.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing projects.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in additional analytics, BI, and data visualization tools is a plus.
- Certifications in SAP Cloud Analytics or related fields are desirable.
