Principal Industry Consultant – GCP Cloud Architecture

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced German speaking Principal Industry Consultant – GCP Cloud Architecture for our operations in Germany. This is a client-facing role where you will work closely with clients to drive cloud transformation initiatives and provide deep industry insights. You will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic technology solutions, ensuring architectural integrity, and guiding organizations through their cloud journey.

As a thought leader, you will collaborate with clients to define cloud adoption strategies, oversee solution architecture, and ensure successful delivery of cloud programs. While this role involves some engagement in the early phases of client projects, it is primarily focused on architectural consulting activities.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Consulting:

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing deep industry knowledge and technical expertise in GCP cloud architecture and transformation.
• Lead cloud strategy discussions, working with stakeholders to define future-state architectures and roadmaps.
• Drive large-scale cloud migration and modernization initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Engage in early project phases to provide architectural guidance and ensure seamless transitions to delivery teams.

Cloud Architecture & Solution Design:

• Develop cloud-based architectures that align with industry standards and best practices, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and multi-cloud environments.
• Define technical strategies for cloud migration, modernization, and optimization.
• Provide governance and oversight for cloud implementations to ensure security, scalability, and performance.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing:

• Work closely with internal delivery teams to ensure proposed architectures align with implementation realities.
• Act as a bridge between clients, internal engineering teams, and technology partners to ensure smooth project execution.
• Contribute to the development of best practices, frameworks, and reusable assets to enhance Endava’s cloud consulting capabilities.

• Extensive experience in Google Cloud cloud architecture, consulting, or solution design roles.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing large-scale cloud solutions, preferably on Google Cloud Platform.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT landscapes, cloud transformation strategies, and industry-specific cloud adoption trends.
• Hands-on experience in leading cloud migration and modernization projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
• Ability to support client engagements in both German and English.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, DevOps practices, and security best practices.
• Previous collaboration with Google Cloud engineering teams or other hyperscalers is a plus.
• Experience implementing AI projects with Google Cloud products.

Pay Transparency

The expected salary range for this position is $250,000 to $300,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the company’s compensation practices. The actual salary may also vary based on applicant's geographic location and qualifications.
