We are looking for a talented and motivated Dataverse and Model-Driven App Developer to join our Power Platform team. In this role, you will work under the guidance of a Solution Architect to configure, customize, and extend applications using Microsoft Dataverse, Model-Driven Apps, and Power Platform components. This is a remote position supporting EST work hours.
You’ll be responsible for turning functional requirements into working solutions that are reliable, secure, and aligned with architectural best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development & Customization
- Build and configure Model-Driven Apps using Dataverse tables, forms, views, business rules, and charts.
- Implement custom logic using Power Automate flows, JavaScript, and Plugins where needed.
- Customize Dataverse security using role-based access controls, teams, and security roles.
- Apply UI/UX enhancements and custom controls using Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) where applicable.
Integration & Automation
- Integrate Model-Driven Apps with external data sources using custom connectors, web APIs, and Azure services.
- Develop and maintain Power Automate flows to automate business processes and system interactions.
- Work with architects to consume services from Microsoft Graph, Logic Apps, or Azure Functions.
Support & Maintenance
- Participate in debugging, testing, and performance tuning of applications.
- Maintain and enhance existing Power Platform solutions based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
- Follow ALM and DevOps practices using tools such as Azure DevOps and Git.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and solution architects to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, configuration notes, and deployment guides.
- Attend and contribute to scrum meetings, sprint reviews, and technical design sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dataverse and Model-Driven App development.
- Experience configuring tables, relationships, forms, views, dashboards, and business rules.
- Knowledge of Power Automate, JavaScript, and Web Resources.
- Understanding of Dataverse security model, including business units, teams, and security roles.
- Familiarity with solution management, environment strategies, and DevOps pipelines for Power Platform.
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment under the direction of a technical architect.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PCF controls, custom connectors, and Power Pages is a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 or Dynamics 365 integrations.
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., PL-400: Power Platform Developer Associate) preferred.
