The Role: A Catalyst for Vision and Execution

  • We are seeking a Senior Product Manager who operates with a unique duality. You will not only be the architect of our product vision—defining what we build—but you will also serve as a Team Catalyst for the Product and Tech organizations, defining how we execute delivery.
  • This role requires a leader who can drive execution and accountability within our squads while providing mentorship and setting the bar for product excellence. You will sit at the nexus of clinical efficacy and software delivery, ensuring that we are solving the right problems for our three core stakeholders: the Patient, the Provider, and the Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

  • 1. Delivery Catalyst & Team Accountability
  • Cultural Leadership: Act as a role model within the Product and Tech organization. Foster a culture of high accountability, psychological safety, and continuous improvement.
Process & Execution: Own the "rhythm of business" for the engineering squads. Ensure that sprints are planned effectively, blockers are removed, and velocity is maintained without sacrificing quality.
Mentorship & Quality: Provide hands-on mentorship and support to engineering and product associates, helping the team connect their daily code to the broader clinical mission and ensuring the highest quality product delivery.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Serve as the bridge between clinical operations and technology, ensuring that the "why" behind every feature is understood by the engineers building it.
  • 2. Product Vision & Clinical Execution
  • The Clinical Ecosystem: Design and manage product lifecycles that account for the complex interplay between:
Patients: Creating engaging, empathetic interfaces that drive adherence and behavioral change.
Providers: Building tools that reduce burnout, streamline clinical workflows, and provide actionable data at the point of care.
Administrators: Ensuring robustness in billing, reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Roadmap Strategy: Translate high-level company goals into a prioritized roadmap. You must be ruthless in prioritization, balancing new feature innovation with technical debt and operational stability.
Data-Driven Iteration: Define success metrics (KPIs) built around clinical outcomes and user engagement. Use data to validate hypotheses and pivot when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 6-8+ years of progressive Product Management experience, with a minimum of 4 years specifically in Digital Health or Clinical Technology.
  • US Healthcare System Insight: Required residency in the US for at least 10 years, demonstrating deep practical knowledge of US clinical payment, regulatory, and operational environments (EMR, HIPAA, provider credentialing, etc.).
  • The "Clinical" Trifecta: Proven experience shipping products that serve the distinct needs of Patients, Providers, and Administrators. You understand EMR integrations, clinical workflows, and HIPAA compliance.
  • Leadership Trajectory: Experience managing agile ceremonies and driving accountability in engineering teams. You have a track record of improving team performance and morale.
  • Technical Fluency: You don’t need to write code, but you must be able to debate technical trade-offs with engineers and understand the implications of architectural decisions.
  • - Proven experience building with AI tools (e.g., LLM integrations, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development workflows).
    - Proficiency in no-code/low-code platforms (e.g., Zapier, Bubble, Retool, or Airtable) to build internal tools or MVPs rapidly.
  • Communication: You can speak "Doctor," "Engineer," and "Business" fluently, switching contexts without friction.
  • Language: You are bilingual and able to work in Spanish via our Chilean Engineering team.

Qualities That Will Make You Successful Here

  • Empathy: You understand that behind every data point is a patient trying to change their life and a provider trying to help them.
  • Grit: You are willing to get into the weeds to unblock a release, but you know when to pull back and look at the horizon.
  • Ownership: You take personal responsibility for the success of the product and the health of the team.
  • Proactivity: You anticipate challenges, propose solutions before problems escalate, and drive initiative across the product lifecycle.

Why Join Enara?

  • Mission-Driven: Work on a product that tangibly extends and improves human life.
  • Impact: Influence the culture and processes of a growing tech organization.
  • Growth: Opportunity to shape the future of metabolic health technology.

Enara Health embarked on its journey in 2014, born from a vision to revolutionize obesity care. Dr. Rami Bailony, an internal medicine physician, witnessed firsthand the shortcomings in how the healthcare system addressed obesity and the inadvertent shame it often inflicted on patients. This experience ignited a passion to create an alternative – a model rooted in evidence-based science and free from stigma. The initial years, from 2014 to roughly 2018, were dedicated to meticulously iterating and validating the clinical product. The core objective was to develop a life-altering program capable of producing profound and lasting clinical results, aiming to match the efficacy of bariatric surgery without the invasive procedures. By the fourth year, the data was compelling, showcasing an average weight loss of over 15% sustained beyond 18 months – a remarkable achievement that signaled the program's readiness for broader impact.

The year 2020 marked a pivotal moment in Enara Health's evolution. Recognizing the profound potential of their clinically proven approach, Dr. Bailony teamed up with Dr. Lydia Alexander, a prominent figure in obesity medicine and then VP of the Obesity Medicine Association, and Felipe Baytelman, an engineer with a background at ClassPass. This collaboration was aimed at building a robust platform and network to scale their innovative obesity treatment. The mission became clear: to develop the first-ever platform designed to make comprehensive, personalized, and insurance-covered obesity treatment accessible. Enara Health's model focuses on a holistic, data-driven approach, integrating personalized nutrition, exercise regimens, medication management (including GLP-1s when appropriate), and crucial behavioral and mental health support. They partner with healthcare systems and clinics, empowering them to offer top-tier obesity care and extend their reach, particularly to underserved communities disproportionately affected by the obesity epidemic. This collaborative strategy, combined with a commitment to leveraging technology like AI for optimizing care and operations, defines Enara Health's ongoing quest to transform the landscape of weight management and improve long-term health outcomes for millions.
