United Arab Emirates onlyAs a Structural Engineer, You will supports the delivery of offshore structural engineering design for fixed platforms, topsides, and related structures. Works under the supervision of a Senior Engineer and contributes to analysis, design documentation, and cross-discipline coordination.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform structural analysis and design of offshore structures including topsides, jackets, and modules
- Prepare engineering calculations, design documentation, and technical specifications
- Carry out code checks and structural assessments in accordance with project standards
- Coordinate with other disciplines for load inputs, equipment data, and interface requirements
- Support preparation of material take-offs (MTOs) and purchase requisitions
- Check and review design drawings produced by structural designers
- Participate in design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP sessions, and engineering workshops
- Ensure all work is executed per quality management and project procedures
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in offshore structural engineering within FEED or EPC projects
- Hands-on experience with structural analysis software (SACS, SESAM, or STAAD)
- Working knowledge of API RP 2A, AISC, ISO 19902, and DNV standards
- Experience on offshore oil & gas projects in the Middle East is advantageous
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
