Senior CloudOps Engineer

DuckDuckGo is seeking a Senior CloudOps Engineer to join their remote-first team. The successful candidate will accelerate projects across the company by providing infrastructure, tools, and processes that help team members build great products fast. The role involves combining Infrastructure Engineering and Developer Operations, providing cloud-based infrastructure, tooling, and automation that accelerates objectives. The team is looking for a strong leader who can collaborate with team members at all levels and provide troubleshooting and debugging experience to solve problems, big and small.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software/infrastructure/DevOps engineering
• Ability to lead and collaborate on high-impact and complex projects
• Intermediate programming ability in a high-level language (e.g., Perl or Python)
• Experience and comfort on the Linux command line
• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform)
• Passion for helping people and enabling them to solve problems
