The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and technically curious Sales Engineer to join our growing Sales team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in technology and healthcare who enjoys solving problems, explaining complex solutions clearly, and collaborating across teams.
As a Sales Engineer, you will support the full sales cycle by partnering closely with Account Executives, Account Managers, Product, and Implementation teams. You’ll help translate customer requirements into tailored technical solutions using DoseSpot’s ePrescribing platform. Success will be measured by the speed and close rate of sales opportunities closed, streamlined implementation and strong customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities:
Partner with Sales team members to lead discovery, understand customer needs and demonstrate how DoseSpot brings value through seamless integrations.
Conduct product demonstrations and walkthroughs for prospective clients, highlighting DoseSpot’s capabilities and integration options.
Assist in creating customized solutions scoping documentation to streamline integration and onboarding.
Collaborate with account managers to serve as a technical resource and ensure customers are receiving the full value that DoseSpot has to offer as part of their integration.
Maintain an up-to-date understanding of DoseSpot’s APIs, integrations, and compliance requirements (e.g., Surescripts, EPCS, PDMP).
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to stay current on platform enhancements and contribute feedback that improves demo environments, sales tools, and internal documentation.
What you'll bring:
Degree & Years of Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or in a healthcare related field, ideally related to medications and/or prescription ordering + typically requires 2 years’ experience.
Strong interest in healthcare technology, SaaS, or software integration.
Excellent communication and presentation skills — both technical and non-technical.
Basic understanding of web technologies (APIs, REST, JSON, etc.).
Ability to quickly learn complex software systems and explain them clearly.
Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Preferred:
Experience or internship in sales engineering, technical support, or software implementation.
Experience in building relationships either in sales or account management role.
Familiarity with EHRs, telehealth platforms, or ePrescribing systems.
Exposure to HIPAA, security, and compliance considerations in healthcare.

Collaboration & Interaction: Builds productive internal/external working relationships to resolve mutual problems by collaborating on procedures or transactions. Focuses on providing standard professional advice and creating initial reports/analysis for review by experienced team professionals.
