As a key member of the Leisure Support Services team, the Operations Support Specialist will be responsible for assisting in researching missing commissions, learning Central Command, and assisting in ClientBase (CRM) support and invoicing. This role will work closely with the Leisure Support team and report to the Senior Director Leisure Support Services.
Expedition Expectations
- You will be working closely with both our leisure support and air team
- With Leisure support you will assist advisors with invoicing, researching missing and unmatched commissions
- Answer questions, resolve issues with invalid invoices or questions on how to issue invoices correctly
- Assist with email suite for leisure support and air desk
- Research and book/hold flights for advisors
- Process schedule changes, refunds, and exchange of airline tickets
- Answer questions on GDS process
- Help maintain air queues
Passport to Success
- 3+ years travel industry or agency experience
- 3+ years of Apollo
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated professional customer service skills
- Capability of maintaining a favorable company image when interfacing with outside sources
- Ability to demonstrate personal and organizational integrity
- Capability of working in a team environment supporting management and staff, following policies, providing feedback, assisting in special projects, and taking on additional responsibility
- Effective oral and written skills
- Organizational skills that result in high productivity
- Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
- Good understanding of reading airline fare rules for exchanges/schedule changes/refunds etc
