Sri Lanka onlyWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior APIM Consultant to design, implement, and optimize API Management solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in API Management, strong knowledge of Azure services, and hands-on experience in integrating complex systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement API Management solutions using Azure API Management (APIM).
- Develop and maintain Azure Functions for serverless integrations.
- Work with Service Fabric for microservices orchestration and deployment.
- Integrate Azure Service Bus for messaging and communication between distributed systems.
- Ensure secure, scalable, and efficient API operations across Azure environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage networking and intra-service operations within Azure.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, release management, and automation.
- Troubleshoot and maintain code using C# programming skills for API and backend services.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices for API lifecycle management and governance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- API Management Expertise: Strong experience with Azure API Management (APIM) including policies, security, and monitoring.
- Azure Functions: Hands-on experience in building and deploying serverless applications.
- Service Fabric: Knowledge of microservices architecture and deployment strategies.
- Service Bus Integration: Experience in messaging patterns and integration using Azure Service Bus.
- General Azure Skills: Proficiency in Azure networking, resource management, and intra-service communication.
- Azure DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and release automation.
- Programming: Strong C# skills for troubleshooting, debugging, and code maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with API security standards (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) within Azure.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
