What you’ll be doing
- Define and drive the long-term strategy, vision, and roadmap for your product area, ensuring alignment with revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and competitive advantage.
- Use data insights to identify opportunities for innovation and inform product strategy.
- Prioritize features and initiatives based on data, client feedback, and strategic value.
- Monitor product performance through analytics, metrics, and user feedback, making data-driven decisions.
- Stay aware of the competitive landscape to ensure products remain market-relevant.
- Act as a trusted product expert, applying deep knowledge of business, customers, and technology.
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch and end-of-life, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.
- Manage product ideation, requirements specification, and validation, producing high-quality artifacts such as PRDs, epics, and user stories.
- Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional product teams.
- Define and track KPIs to measure product success and regularly report to stakeholders.
- Apply pragmatic Product Management practices, selecting the right framework or methodology for each situation.
- Work closely with UX, Customer Success, and Sales teams to gather feedback, identify pain points, and prioritize product improvements.
- Conduct site visits, online meetings, and other research activities to ensure products meet user needs.
- Ensure product quality and compliance throughout the development cycle, partnering with Engineering on feature delivery.
- Support adoption of software and services through compelling documentation, training, webinars, and other enablement initiatives.
- Assist the sales team in go-to-market activities, including RFP/Tender responses, product demos, client meetings, and events.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software product management, including product discovery and delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and deliver solutions.
- Proven ability to foster cross-functional collaboration among teams with diverse areas of expertise and responsibility, leveraging product management tools and frameworks to drive alignment and deliver results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong presentation and relationship management skills.
- Highly developed organisational skills and ability to work with a high level of autonomy.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt projects in response to changing requirements.
- A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Experience in Life Science solutions, with preference on such for pharmaceutical companies
- Experience in Pharma R&D, drug lifecycle pipeline,
- Data processing, FAIR data, ontologies, knowledge graph technology
