Web Developer

Digital Resource is seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our talented Web Team. Reporting to the Website Development Manager, you will build, deploy, and maintain websites for a diverse clientele. This role involves front-end development, collaboration with designers, account managers, and adherence to industry best practices to deliver high-quality solutions. This is a fully remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites in Webflow and WordPress, implementing new features and customizations.
• Create website layouts and user interfaces while collaborating with designers to match visual intent.
• Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code using best practices.
• Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
• Optimize websites for search engines (SEO), speed, and performance.
• Perform website updates, content management, and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain, expand, and scale client websites.
• Stay up-to-date with web development trends, technologies, and industry standards to propose improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, meet client expectations, and provide progress updates.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

• 2-4 years of professional experience in web development.
• Experience building sites in Webflow.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and responsive web design.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and web accessibility standards.
• Ability to interpret client requirements and estimate development timelines.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• General understanding of AI-assisted development workflows and the ability to collaborate with AI tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and prototyping.
• Experience building custom themes and plugins for WordPress.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of JavaScript
• Knowledge of Shopify theme development and Liquid templating.
• Experience implementing SEO enhancements and web performance optimizations.
• Understanding of web security principles and best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to mentor junior developers.
• Experience using AI-driven development platforms (such as Lovable.dev, Bolt.new, or v0.dev) to build, refine, or accelerate full-stack applications.

Position Details

This role reports directly to the Website Development Manager and involves managing multiple client projects simultaneously, ensuring that project goals are met efficiently and on time.
