We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join the ACDE team at DN. This role is focused on the development, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based software solutions within the Microsoft Azure environment. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in .NET Core development and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure software. Familiarity with Azure cloud services, cloud-native application development, and modern DevOps practices is essential. A solid understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly in a sprint-based development cycle, is also important.

This is a remote position with the flexibility to work from home. However, occasional on-site presence at our North Canton, OH location is expected for in-depth discussions, team collaboration, or other business needs. This may include one to two week-long sessions per year, along with five to ten single-day visits. Candidates who prefer a more consistent in-office presence are welcome to work from the North Canton office regularly.

Success in this role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within a global team environment. The developer will work closely with colleagues across the U.S., India, and other international locations, contributing to a dynamic and supportive team culture.

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality .NET Core applications that integrate with both on-premises and cloud-based systems.
  • Leverage GitHub Copilot to enhance development efficiency, improve code quality, and accelerate delivery timelines.
  • Ensure software quality through unit testing, peer code reviews, and pull request approvals.
  • Participate in Agile development cycles, including 3-week sprints from requirements review through to production deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects; perform ongoing maintenance and enhancements.
  • Support the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud-based solutions.
  • Assist in measuring and optimizing system performance and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with InfoSec, CIO, and corporate IT standards for security and operational integrity.
  • Collaborate effectively with global team members across the U.S., India, and other regions.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Cloud Engineering.
  • Experience in .NET Core C# development and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure software.
  • Cloud-native application development, prefer Azure cloud services.
  • Firm understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly in a sprint-based development cycle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within a global team environment.
  • The developer will work closely with colleagues across the U.S., India, and other international locations, contributing to a dynamic and supportive team culture.
  • Modern DevOps practices are essential.
