WHAT’S THE JOB?
This is a term position for 6 months starting Jan 2026.
Join our Integrated Facility Management (IFM) team, where our people are driven by a desire to innovate, do social good, and move services forward in a safe manner.

YOUR WORK WILL INCLUDE:
- Maintaining relationships with all external and internal stakeholders through effective communication practices;
- Identifying HSEQ risks, problems and issues as early as possible; ensuring mitigating actions are in place to minimize impact;
- Effectively communicate HSEQ expectations to stakeholders in a timely, professional manner and on an ongoing basis;
- Provide necessary training resources, leadership, organization, and control to meet the company's HSEQ goals.
- Manage and measure the HSEQ program performance to achieve targeted business output and improvement levels and share with required stakeholders.
- Prepare and present monthly HSE statistics for analysis to the National HSE Manager.
- Manage the functioning of the health and safety program including maintaining applicable documentation, establishing performance measures, and analyzing and reporting on health and safety program results and trends.
- Manage and coordinate with Disability management on any injury claims.
- Ensure each level of management is properly informed of all activities relative to compliance with company safety policies and communications.
- Maintain and manage the HSEP (Health and Safety Excellence Program).
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- University Degree or College Diploma in relevant discipline including at least five (5) years’ related experience. An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Successful completion of post-secondary education from an accredited university or college.
- Valid driver’s license.
- The ability to demonstrate the application of risk assessment to company operations and activities.
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Programs (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
- Experience in health and safety operations within the United States is considered a valuable asset.
- Bilingual in either English/French or English/Spanish is an asset
- Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST) is an asset
