Our client is a well-established Bulgarian cybersecurity company with long lasting presence on the Bulgarian market. For their internal needs we are looking to hire:

SOC Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze security alerts through SIEM platforms.
• Perform triage of security events and assess potential impact.
• Conduct network traffic analysis to identify anomalies and potential threats.
• Execute incident response activities and provide clear communication to clients regarding security events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance detection and response capabilities.
• Document findings, incidents, and recommendations in a structured manner.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of networks and server administration, with a focus on Linux environments.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing IP tables and firewalls to ensure secure network configurations.
• Experience in creating and maintaining thorough documentation of security policies, processes, and incidents.
• Hands-on experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions.
• Ability to evaluate and implement security measures beyond just log analysis in SIEM, ensuring a comprehensive approach to threat detection and response.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to set priorities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
