Through groundbreaking technology, DemystData is revolutionizing external data management at Demyst. The company believes that external data represents the next significant frontier for business impact, yet it often remains inaccessible. Demyst's mission is to empower organizations to harness greater value from the vast external data ecosystem while adhering to their data governance objectives. The company supports enterprise external data management with a market-leading product and managed service, designed to empower central data teams, as well as analytics and business stakeholders across the enterprise. Founded in 2010, DemystData recognized that despite the abundance of data, very little was being utilized for customer benefit. An estimated 80% of analytics projects were failing during the ideation, discovery, or deployment phases, with true business impact seldom realized despite clear potential.

DemystData has since evolved a sophisticated technology platform that underpins its services, enabling close partnerships with innovative organizations to tackle the intricate details of their data projects. Over 100 leading banks and insurers have leveraged Demyst to discover and deploy the world's premier external data for a wide array of use cases, including KYC (Know Your Customer), credit assessment, risk management, and marketing. The platform facilitates the orchestration and operationalization of external data with speed, safety, and reliability. It offers connectors as a unified interface to any upstream source, data APIs for real-time data access in production workflows, and data shares for delivering bulk data into landing zones, all managed through configuration gateway APIs. This comprehensive approach enables businesses to enhance decision-making and maintain regulatory compliance. DemystData's technology helps data-driven enterprises supercharge strategic use cases such as underwriting, lending, digital origination, and process automation by tapping into the breadth and complexity of the ever-expanding external data universe. The company is committed to the power of external data-enabled solutions to eliminate friction and accelerate time to value, helping enterprise clients acquire better customers more rapidly and manage risk in unprecedented ways. They are known for harnessing rich, relevant, integrated, and linked data to deliver tangible value in production, often in less than 90 days. In April 2025, DemystData was acquired by Feedzai, a global leader in fraud and financial crime prevention, a move set to further enhance its capabilities by integrating with Feedzai's AI-powered risk management solutions.
