We are looking for you, located in Trier, Bonn or 100% remote in Germany as a

Solution Architect (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • Design and architect state of the art solution blueprints for on premises and cloud deployment

  • Define building blocks of a solution and relations between solutions and components

  • Define interoperability scenarios between components

  • Prepare and define testing strategies and requirements

  • Perform design reviews

  • Perform 3rd party evaluations

  • Write technical documentation

  • Work with both local and international product teams.

You bring along:

  • University degree in computer science, information systems or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Several years of working experience as a solution architect or in an equivalent role

  • Background in Software Engineering and / or System Integrations

  • Practical experience in development of enterprise applications

  • Experience in CI environments and DevOps methodologies

  • Experience with container virtualization and management

  • Knowledge in hybrid cloud solutions and working on Linux, Windows, Cloud-native as well as the design of high available solutions and infrastructure management (e.g. Network configuration, firewalls)

  • Knowledge in Security best practices

  • Experience with AWS native services (EKS, RDS, S3, AppStream, (...)) is a plus

  • Strong oral and written English language skills
