We are looking for a dynamic and commercially minded Financial Manager to lead our budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes. You'll analyse financial performance, ensure compliance, manage cashflows, strengthen financial controls, and support key audits. The role also includes improving reporting systems, guiding junior team members, and partnering with stakeholders to support strategic decision-making. Ideal for a CA(SA) with strong technical, analytical and communication skills.

What Will You Do?
Key Responsibility:
- Lead the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic objectives and decisions
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual financial data
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards
- Prepare operational cashflows and oversee cash management
- Implement and oversee financial controls
- Support the annual audit process by preparing and/or reviewing relevant documentation
- Assist in developing and enhancing financial reporting systems
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Employ critical thinking to ensure strategic objectives are met
- Provide financial guidance to various operational teams
- Lead, coach and develop members of the finance team
- Manage stakeholder engagement
- Provide ad-hoc support to various members of the executive team
Who Do You Need to Be?
- CA(SA) or equivalent
- 2-3 years financial management experience
- Proven history of commercial financial experience
- Comprehensive understanding of IFRS accounting standards
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Income Tax, VAT and Companies Act
- Strong technical, analytical and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced excel skills preferred)
- Ability to train and assist junior accountants
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Effective planning, organisational and time-management skills
- Experience working with foreign entities or mergers & acquisitions is a plus
