Functional Analyst [Remote - Brazil or Portugal]

We are seeking a skilled Functional Analyst with strong experience in requirement gathering, systems analysis, and data modeling. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in agile environments and has a solid understanding of web-based systems.

Tasks

• Conduct requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders
• Analyze and document business and technical requirements using user stories or use cases
• Design and model data structures to support solution architecture
• Collaborate with development teams to translate requirements into functional solutions
• Support system analysis for web applications, including those developed in Java and C#
• Ensure alignment between business needs and technical implementation
• Work in agile environments, participating in ceremonies and backlog grooming

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst or similar role
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, and data modeling
• Proficient in SQL for querying and validating data
• Experience writing user stories or use cases
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
• Previous exposure to web systems analysis, ideally in Java or C# environments
• Willingness to relocate to Portugal in the future
