Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 / year

Description

Key Responsibilities

• Handle Average case load of 25-30 claims files.
• Claims consist of 1st Party Property, GL, Auto.
• Investigate claims through interviewing, conducting inspections, document review, preparing estimates and thorough reporting.
• Handle a territory approximately 2 hours in radius.
• Manage time and assignment caseloads with the objective of providing a quality work product as well as meeting invoicing goals, as outlined in the adjuster's Performance Evaluation and Goals
• Take recorded statements for all type of claims focusing on securing factual information necessary to effectively adjust the claim being investigated
• Prepare written estimates for repairs utilizing computer based estimating software including Xactimate or any other software as delegated by the Branch Manager
• Draft Reservation of Rights letters and/or Coverage Denials as necessary
• Make recommendation of payment based upon facts as determined during the investigation of the claim assignment
• Nurture and maintain good relations with all clients
• Maintain necessary licensing in good standing and obtain any continuing education certification as required by the licensing state(s)

Skills, knowledge & expertise

• Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience as a Field Adjuster preferred
• Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing ladders and navigating tight spaces
• Possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with claims platforms and Xactimate.
• Florida Adjuster License
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated through the review of reports.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
• Customer service orientation, with a track record of resolving client issues efficiently and effectively.
