  • Car Allowance: £5,000 per annum
  • Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week (08:30 – 17:00, Mon - Fri)

What does a day look like for you here?

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for the delivery of multiple projects with high complexity which include products from multiple towers. You will also ensure that the agreed solutions are executed and managed in line with our delivery and quality plans and approved budgets. You will also act as the main point of escalation and provide coaching and mentoring to our junior team members.

  • Creating, managing and maintaining project plans and executing delivery in line with our Quality Gate process.
  • Identifying resources required and assigns individual responsibilities.
  • Providing a single point of contact for our customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Chairing regular project reviews with client representatives and project team members, reports regularly on project progress to the client and line management.
  • Defining the risk profile for each project, maintaining and managing the risk and issue log for each project.
  • Producing clear and accurate project documentation to successfully govern all aspects of projects.
  • Coordinating the resources of Daisy and its third parties to deliver projects effectively.
  • Maintaining change control logs with records and impact assessments of all changes introduced during the project lifecycle.
  • Consistently ensuring customer instigated changes are properly captured, approved and funded in line with procedures.
  • Defining risk profiles for projects, maintaining and managing the RAID log and setup of contingency plans to minimise business risk.
  • Managing the Service Transition aspects of projects.
  • Providing and maintaining accurate forecasting of revenue for invoicing and revenue recognition purposes
  • Ensuring timely and accurate invoicing with supporting evidence to demonstrate completeness of tasks / projects.
  • Providing support to the Bid Management function on behalf of Project Management to provide quality responses to tender questions and detailed project plans.
  • Acting as a point of escalation when necessary or requested.
  • Travelling to customer sites when necessary.
  • Consistently delivering projects to agreed time, cost and level of quality.
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to junior members of the project team.
  • Driving excellent Customer Satisfaction for projects from CSAT surveys.
  • Supporting our Sales teams with potential project opportunities.

So, what are we looking for?

  • Experience of UC&C solutions.
  • Experience of networking, LAN / WAN & Wi-Fi solutions.
  • Experience of Security and Firewall solutions.
  • Experience of Data Centre and Cloud based solutions.
  • Significant experience of people management.
  • Professional Project Management qualifications such as APM or PRINCE2 are desirable.
  • Experience and understanding of working within an ITIL lead organisation.
  • Excellent understanding of Risk and Issue management with demonstrable practical experience.
  • Excellent commercial knowledge and financial techniques for managing project cost, revenue and invoicing.
