Frontend React Developer - B2C Website (Full remote in France)

The Mission

Join the Website team, the crew behind the main dailymotion.com experience, watched by millions of users every day. We own the core video watching experience and the SEO stack, two critical pillars of Dailymotion's reach and engagement.

You'll work at the intersection of design, product, and engineering to craft interfaces that are not only functional but genuinely beautiful. Here, craft matters: we care about the details, the smoothness of animations, the precision of layouts, and the overall quality of what users see and feel. You'll ship features that are visible, impactful, and held to a high bar of frontend excellence.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship features on dailymotion.com with a strong emphasis on frontend quality and user experience
• Work hand-in-hand with designers to implement pixel-perfect UIs, translating mockups into polished, production-ready components with meticulous attention to detail
• Take ownership of the visual and interactive quality of the product, pushing back when needed to ensure the right experience is delivered
• Contribute to bug fixes and performance improvements to keep the site fast, accessible, and reliable at scale
• Work on backend services and APIs when needed to support end-to-end feature delivery
• Leverage AI tools to improve your workflow, iterate faster, and stay ahead of the curve

Tech Stack : JavaScript, ReactJS, CSS/SCSS, GraphQL | Backend exposure: Python, NodeJS, REST APIs

The Must-Haves

• 2 to 4 years of experience in frontend or fullstack development with a strong frontend focus
• Solid command of ReactJS and CSS, with a genuine eye for detail and a passion for building beautiful, polished UIs
• A pixel-perfect mindset: you notice when something is 2px off and you care about fixing it
• Proven ability to collaborate closely with designers and translate complex design systems into flawless interfaces
• Results-oriented: committed to delivering the right outcome, not just shipping fast
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift and iteration is constant
• Fluent in English - French is a plus

The Nice-to-Haves

• Some exposure to GraphQL, Python, or NodeJS
• Interest in SEO best practices and web performance (Core Web Vitals, SSR, etc.)
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate development and improve productivity
• A side project, portfolio, or contribution that shows your taste for great UI/UX
• Willingness to challenge design or product decisions when it leads to a better outcome

Work arrangement

• This position is open to fully remote (France only) or Paris-based in the 3rd arrondissement

Interview process

1.HR Interview with Marvin (30 min): Get to know each other, discuss your motivations, and align on role expectations

2. Interview with Stephen, your future manager (45 min): Deep dive into the role requirements, assess your technical background and problem-solving approach, and challenge your skills through concrete scenarios

3. Technical Case Study (1 hour) : Work on a take-home case study followed by a presentation to two member of our tech team, this gives you a chance to showcase your technical thinking and understand what you'd be working on, while helping us evaluate the fit with our needs

4. Leadership Interview with N+2 (45mn) : Discuss long-term career goals, understand how this role fits into Dailymotion's broader strategy, and explore growth opportunities within the organization
