Hybrid, working onsite at our Santa Clara, Ca headquarters 3-5 days per week.
The role: Analog Design Engineer, Lead/Manager
What You Will Do:
Analog-mixed signal integrated circuit design using (but not limited to) common circuit design tools from Cadence and Synopsys. Design state of the art In-Memory-Compute engine for Artificial Intelligence Inference Accelerator and High-Speed Die-2-Die Interface for scale-out.
- Hands-on Design Lead/Manager to lead a team of Circuit Design Engineers from Concept to Production.
- Lead a team of Analog Layout Consultants to drive for best PPA
- Work closely with various disciplines (e.g. Digital Design, Physical Design, Firmware, and Design Verification) across different geographies and time zones, to ensure successful cross-team engagement and high-quality execution
- Participate and contribute effectively on bump-map design, Channel modeling and Link budgeting of 2-D/3-D designs working with Packaging and Board design Engineers
- Drive towards a strong design and simulation methodology flow on mixed-signal front
- Participate and contribute effectively towards 3rd Party Mixed-signal IP Selection on SOC front.
What You Will Bring:
- Completed a BS/MS/PhD Preferred degree in Electrical Engineering and BS 15+/MS 10+/PhD 8+ years of related professional experience with a background lead design of high-speed circuit design blocks such as High-speed Drivers, Receivers, Clocking, PLL designs
- Experience with Channel modeling using Matlab or other tools including Link budgeting.
- Experience and knowledge of Schematic Capture, Spice Simulations and running Monte-Carlo simulations
- Experience and knowledge of Circuit Layout, Extraction and running back-annotated simulations
- Participation and contribution in Standard bodies is a plus.
- Must have effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in working with cross functional and cross site teams.
