Position Summary

The Lead Director, Operations Training and Education will report to the Executive Director, Clinical Operations for CVSHealthspire Care Solutions to provide strategic leadership and oversight for training and education functions by collaborating with stakeholders to identify learning needs, developing learning strategies, managing learning budgets, and overseeing the design and delivery of training programs.

  • Coordinates a team of learning professionals, provides guidance and support, evaluates training outcomes, and aligns learning initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Responsible for driving employee development, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and measuring the impact of learning and development programs on organizational performance.
  • In collaboration with other operational leaders, develops, approves and implements strategies for operations programs that develop employee knowledge, skills, and performance specific to their roles and responsibilities.
  • Advises on organization standards for a learning strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Contributes to top-level decision-making based on training needs assessments for learning priorities that advance skill gaps and support ongoing employee development.
  • Designs and communicates learning and development curriculum and course content, and makes recommendations for associated materials including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, or job aids.
  • Advises management about performance data and gap analyses findings, and delivers recommendations for targeted learning solutions to improve employee performance and productivity.
  • Develops methodology for evaluation strategies that measure the effectiveness and impact of learning and development initiatives.
  • Guides junior colleagues through consultation and mentoring in techniques and processes and provides functional (matrix) supervision.
  • Manages operational aspects of the team (e.g., budget, performance, and compliance), and implements workforce and succession plans to meet business needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Current unrestricted RN license in state of residence (Compact RN License preferred)
  • 10 to 15 years of experience working in, supporting and leading operational initiatives in a call center environment to educate, engage and support members in clinical programs is required.
  • Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills

  • Excellent computer skills, analytical skills and budgetary experience,
  • Willingness/ability to travel (15%).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Compact RN License
  • Specialized training/relevant professional qualification
  • Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) preferred.

Education

Bachelor Degree, Masters Preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$123,857.50 - $266,800.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
