The Sales and Service Analyst - Territory Planning, Data and Analytics will work cross-functionally across Sales, Service, Finance, and Business Systems to support and enhance the company’s sales operations infrastructure. This role is responsible not only for executing key processes such as territory planning, annual planning, and analytics, but also

for identifying opportunities to improve, automate, and scale those processes. This individual will leverage data, systems, and analytical thinking to drive accuracy, efficiency, and insight across sales operations. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to process redesign, automation initiatives, and broader operational analysis, while developing deep expertise in territory strategy, planning operations, and the K–8 educational industry.

The impact you'll have:

  • Own and manage territory planning operations, including territory design, account segmentation, alignment, and ongoing maintenance

  • Own and execute annual planning processes, including quota setting support, headcount modeling, and alignment with sales leadership on go-to-market strategy

  • Build, maintain, and enhance analytics and reporting to support decision-making across Sales and Service organizations, including Salesforce reports and dashboards and Power BI visualizations

  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Business Systems to ensure accurate data flows and alignment across systems

  • Support automation and process improvement initiatives, including leveraging tools such as Alteryx, SQL, and BI platforms

  • Perform rigorous data validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of calculations, reports, and systems

  • Provide insights and recommendations through analysis of sales performance, territory effectiveness, and operational trends

  • Own and continuously improve key processes related to territory and planning operations, including identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and planning frameworks

Who we're looking for:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex datasets and planning models

  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with AI, SQL, Alteryx, or similar data/automation tools strongly preferred

  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Domo, Tableau, Power BI) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) preferred

  • Familiarity with AI tools or techniques to enhance analysis, automation, or workflow efficiency preferred

  • High attention to detail with a strong track record of accuracy and data validation

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across functions

  • Continuous improvement mindset with interest in process optimization and automation

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field required

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales operations, finance, commissions, or related analytical roles

  • Experience working with sales compensation processes, financial analysis, or operational analytics preferred

  • Experience with Salesforce, including related applications for quoting, territory management, sales enablement, and other sales operations processes preferred

Pay Range:

This role’s range is $69,250-$118,250.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
