QA Engineer -(Remote, Egypt-based)

Curenta is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Automation QA Engineer to join our team. As an Automation QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to identify and implement effective testing strategies. This role offers the opportunity to work both remotely and on-site.

Requirements

• Develop and implement automated test scripts and frameworks to efficiently test software applications.

• Collaborate with developers to design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform thorough functional, integration, and regression testing to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
• Contribute to the design and improvement of the overall testing process, methodologies, and tools.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders, including developers and project managers.
• Work closely with the development team to reproduce and debug issues, and provide feedback on software enhancements.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in automation testing.
• Continuously enhance testing processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation testing or related roles.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, or Cucumber.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Previous experience in the software industry, particularly in QA automation, is highly desirable.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment.
