JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Manager, Utilization Management (UM) Initiatives, under general direction, is responsible for overseeing operations implementation for new client and product implementations. Duties include developing, driving, coordinating, and managing implementation activities and timelines. In this role, they will be managing multiple implementations and projects across all Corro Clinical business lines; balancing competing client and internal priorities; as well as leading internal and external efforts to ensure timely and successful completion of assigned projects. Job duties include developing project plans and timelines, leading and managing project activities; providing process improvement recommendations; ensuring projects adhere to timelines; coordinating and developing client deliverables; scheduling and leading meetings; as well as providing executive level status updates. Job responsibilities also include training and assisting new Operations Support Specialists and Operations Support Coordinators and writing/maintaining training materials.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

About this position:

Location: Remote (Within US Only)

Preferred Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (some flexibility)

The ideal candidate will bring 1–2+ years of project management and/or product development experience, along with 1–2+ years of healthcare project management or implementation experience. They will have a strong understanding of clinical and operational workflows, with direct experience in Hospital Utilization Management, Case Management, Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI), Coding, and Revenue Cycle Operations. This individual will be adept at coordinating complex initiatives, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and translating operational needs into actionable project plans. They will be detail‑oriented, proactive, and skilled at balancing competing priorities while driving process improvement, operational efficiency, and successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve complex issues with minimal supervision.
  • Responsible for monitoring, reporting, and analyzing operational implementation performance and share findings with management across various teams.
  • Create training materials and maintain a repository of Standard Operating Procedures and Best Practices within Operations Implementation
  • Responsible for attending client implementation calls and leading operational demos and client education
  • Assist team members with questions and provide education when needed
  • Coordinate projects that require consulting cross-departmental business and technical teams
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for key operational practices
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt to process changes
  • Assist with the organization and prioritization of operational projects that will improve both internal and client productivity
  • Facilitate meetings among internal staff and external business partners to align communication and expectations around project business objectives.
  • Develop project requirements and timelines based on project scope.
  • Review and establish ongoing project priorities, managing client priorities, identifying barriers impacting timelines, and collaborating with internal and external teams to develop a roadmap for resolution.
  • Manage project timelines and activities to ensure projects are completed on time and in scope.
  • Additional responsibilities that would correlate with the growth of the company.

Education/Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or work equivalent
  • 1-2+ years of project management and/or product development experience
  • 1-2+ years of healthcare project management/implementation experience
  • Experience working in Hospital Utilization Management, Case Management, CDI and Coding, and Revenue Cycle Operations
  • Highly Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Accurate keyboard skills
  • Demonstrated ability to present and communicate ideas clearly via email
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The ability to perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day and function in an environment with constant interruptions is required. At times, Team Members are subject to sitting for prolonged periods. Infrequently, Team Member must be able to lift and move material weighing up to 20 lbs. Team Member may experience elevated levels of stress during periods of increased activity and with work entailing multiple deadlines.
