Description
We are seeking a talented Mobile-Focused Capacitor Developer to join our team and create exceptional cross-platform mobile applications. This role emphasizes mobile development using TypeScript and Capacitor. We're looking for someone who is passionate about mobile technologies and eager to expand their skill set across other domains when needed.- Mobile Development with Capacitor: Design and build high-quality cross-platform mobile applications using Capacitor and TypeScript. Integrate native device features (e.g., camera, GPS, push notifications) using Capacitor plugins and ensure mobile apps perform seamlessly on both iOS and Android.
- User-Centric Design: Ensure mobile applications are user-friendly, performant, and adhere to platform-specific guidelines for smooth and intuitive user experiences.
- Full-Stack Integration: Work closely on connecting mobile applications with backend services, ensuring robust data synchronization, offline capabilities, and real-time updates.
- Testing & Debugging: Implement rigorous testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end) for mobile applications, ensuring stable and high-quality software. Proactively debug and resolve issues across the mobile stack.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve application performance, focusing on speed, memory, and battery efficiency.
The Individual
We are looking for a candidate with a strong foundation in mobile development who is enthusiastic about continuous learning and adapting to new technologies. To thrive in this role, you should bring at least 3 years of experience in:- Mobile Development: Extensive experience with Capacitor for building cross-platform mobile apps. Familiarity with the Ionic Framework and TypeScript is essential.
- Frontend Expertise: Proficiency in modern web frameworks such as Angular, with a focus on creating mobile-optimized UIs.
- Deployment Proficiency: Familiarity with app store deployment processes for iOS and Android platforms.
- Problem-Solving & Collaboration: Strong analytical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
While not required, the following skills are a plus:
- Knowledge of backend development using Java and frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of state management libraries (e.g., NgRx).
- Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Appium.
- Exposure to alternative backend technologies or frameworks (e.g., Node.js).
