Job Description:
The Technical Lead – Data & Analytics is responsible for designing, building, and governing Pellera’s enterprise analytics foundation across financial and operational domains. This role ensures that data pipelines, models, and KPIs are scalable, reliable, and trusted by executive leadership. The Technical Lead partners closely with multiple stakeholders to translate business requirements into production-grade analytics solutions that enable accurate reporting, forecasting, and decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain scalable data models supporting financial and operational reporting.
- Build and optimize data pipelines integrating NetSuite, Salesforce, and HR systems
- Translate business KPI definitions into governed, reusable technical artifacts.
- Develop and maintain Power BI datasets and semantic models for executive and operational reporting.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, reconciliation, and performance across all analytics outputs
- Establish and enforce analytics delivery standards from requirements through production
- Partner with business stakeholders to validate metrics and reporting outcomes
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex data and reporting issues
- Mentor analysts and engineers and provide technical leadership across the team
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling (fact/dimension, star/snowflake schemas)
- Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred)
- Experience building ELT pipelines using tools such as Matillion or equivalent
- Experience with Power BI, including semantic modeling and performance optimization
- Strong understanding of enterprise KPIs related to revenue, bookings, margin, and pipeline
- Experience implementing data governance, data quality checks, and metric documentation
Qualifications Experience & Education
- 8+ years of experience in data analytics and engineering
- Experience supporting executive-level reporting and analytics
- Hands-on experience integrating ERP (NetSuite) and CRM (Salesforce) data
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred
