Control Risks is searching for an Embedded Business Resiliency Specialist to support a large tech client's Business Resilience program.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with developing, maintaining, or implementation of resiliency solutions, including business continuity plans, business impact analysis, and documentation of procedures.
- Help plan, facilitate, observe, and debrief regular mock-disaster exercises to test the adequacy of existing plans and strategies.
- Analyze impact on, and risk to, essential business functions to identify acceptable recovery time periods and resource requirements.
- Partner with critical business functions to identify opportunities for strategic improvement or mitigation of interruptions and other risks caused by business, regulatory, or industry-specific change initiatives.
- Contribute to establish and maintain program processes and practices which effectively ensure that the business resilience program remains current and incorporates/aligns with industry standards and practices as appropriate.
- Prepare reports to summarize testing activities, including descriptions of goals, planning, scheduling, execution, results, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Participate in support of various other initiatives and ad-hoc projects to enhance business resilience.
Requirements
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree with operational experience 2 to 4 years of exposure in the Business Continuity or Risk Management industry.
- Understanding of BCM governance frameworks, with strong knowledge of business continuity best practices and protocols, and operational risk management.
- A strong understanding of Operational risk and resilience, Business Process improvement methods as well as risk related control frameworks and practices (COSO and ISO).
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, especially related to facilitation, documentation and reporting.
