We are hiring a Technical Solutions Architect (Ruby) to work with a global enterprise SaaS platform, designing scalable, API-driven integration solutions for large enterprise customers.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy custom software solutions using Ruby
Build middleware applications integrating Smartsheet APIs with third-party enterprise systems
Lead technical discovery and design sessions with customers
Define scalable, performance-driven solution architectures
Validate solution designs against platform best practices
Review and provide feedback on architectural designs from other team members
Translate business requirements into technical specifications
Support pre-sales efforts including feasibility analysis and technical scoping
Maintain high quality standards through documentation, testing, and peer reviews
Serve as a subject matter expert on SaaS APIs and extensibility
Qualifications:
5+ years of software development experience
Strong experience with Ruby (Ruby on Rails preferred)
Experience designing and building RESTful APIs
Experience integrating SaaS applications in enterprise environments
Solid understanding of systems architecture and scalable design principles
Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders
Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Experience leading technical projects from concept through delivery
