Role Overview
RentHub is seeking a remote-friendly, full-cycle Account Manager to drive new business within dealerships that offer rental operations (RV, marine, powersports, or equipment). The ideal candidate has experience working in or selling to dealerships with rental departments, and can manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing. This role involves consultative selling, product demos, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding. Occasional travel to industry events and client sites is expected.
We are looking for a driven, full-cycle Account Manager to grow our customer base among dealerships with rental operations. In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business, while serving as a trusted advisor to dealership operators looking to modernize their rental workflows.
This position is remote-friendly, with occasional travel to customer sites, industry events, or team gatherings.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage dealership decision-makers through outbound prospecting, inbound inquiries, referrals, and trade shows
Build and manage a qualified pipeline of rental-focused dealership prospects
Lead discovery calls and conduct software demos tailored to dealership rental operations
Own the entire sales process from initial contact to signed agreement
Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and documentation in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
Collaborate with onboarding and product teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to implementation
Represent RentHub at trade shows and industry events to build brand awareness and generate leads
Stay current on trends in the dealership and rental management space
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in full-cycle B2B software sales or dealership technology sales
Direct experience in dealership operations, preferably in a rental capacity (RV, marine, powersports, or equipment)
Strong understanding of rental workflows within dealerships
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a quota-carrying role
Comfortable managing long and short sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency with CRM tools and sales enablement platforms
Willingness to travel occasionally for in-person meetings and events
