The HCM (Human Capital Management) Functional Analyst is responsible for analyzing, implementing, and supporting the HCM modules within the organization's enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and business stakeholders, to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. The HCM Functional Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the effective utilization of HCM technology to optimize HR processes and enhance the employee experience.

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) or more years of relevant HCM applications experience with a strong understanding of HR processes and best practices.
  • Minimum two (2) or more years of relevant Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud experience
  • Minimum one (1) or more full life-cycle implementations and related support
  • Prior experience as an HCM Functional Analyst in HR system implementation and support role.
  • In-depth functional knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud modules
  • Prior experience with Oracle HCM Cloud Fast Formulas, HCM Data Loader, HCM Extracts, OTBI & BIP reports, Journeys, Extensible and Descriptive Flexfields related to Core HR and/or Talent profile.
  • Proficiency in configuring and customizing HCM modules, including workflows, data structures, security roles, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with data integration and conversion processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into system solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer Skills
  • Must be able to leverage the training, reporting, and process components to excel at the role.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred:

  • Oracle Fusion Redwood UI/UX development / customization / personalization experience
  • Oracle Fusion Page Composer / Sandbox / Groovy scripts customization / personalization experience
  • Google Suite preferred
  • Certification: HRIP (Human Resource Information Professional), Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM) or Oracle HCM Cloud Certification

About the Opportunity:

  • Requirement Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to understand and document HCM functional requirements. Conduct gap analysis to identify areas where the organization's HR processes can be improved or automated using the HCM application modules. Define and document functional specifications and business process flows.
  • HCM System Implementation and Configuration: Configure and customize the HCM modules within the ERP system to align with business requirements. Collaborate with technical teams during system integration and testing phases. Ensure data integrity by conducting data mapping, data validation, and data conversion activities. Define security roles and permissions for different user groups within the HCM modules.
  • User Support and Training: Provide end-user support by troubleshooting and resolving HCM modules related issues. Conduct user training sessions and create user documentation to promote effective utilization of the HCM system. Collaborate with the HR team to address user feedback, identify system enhancements, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to validate the functionality and performance of the HCM modules. Identify and report system defects or inconsistencies, and work with the in-house development / HCM Product Support team to resolve them. Conduct regression testing and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
  • System Maintenance and Upgrades: Stay up to date with new features, releases, and upgrades of the HCM modules. Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute system maintenance activities, patches, and upgrades. Perform system configuration changes and conduct impact analysis to ensure the integrity of existing functionality. Conduct regression testing for existing functionality and functional testing for the business adopted product enhancements in the application upgrades.
  • This is a full time, fully remote position
