About Your New Role
As the Vendor Program Manager, you will own and grow our strategic relationships with leading telco and networking vendors such as Meraki, Fortinet, Versa, and Cato. Your mission is to build a world-class vendor program that optimizes procurement, strengthens partnerships, and aligns services with customer and business needs. You will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, sales, and finance teams to deliver scalable solutions that enhance our managed services portfolio and drive competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Relationship Management
Build and manage deep partnerships with core telco vendors (Meraki, Fortinet, Versa, Cato) and distributors (e.g., Ingram Micro, Arrow) to drive service growth, joint enablement, and procurement efficiency. - Contract & Commercial Management
Negotiate agreements, SLAs, and pricing structures to maximize business value while ensuring competitive positioning and profitability. - Program Development & Lifecycle Ownership
Oversee vendor-aligned service offerings across SD-WAN, SASE, networking, UCaaS, and cloud solutions—owning roadmap, launch, and optimization. - Cross-Functional Enablement
Partner with engineering, finance, operations, and sales to design scalable frameworks, pricing models, SOPs, and go-to-market strategies. - Performance & Governance
Lead vendor scorecards, KPIs, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to measure vendor performance, track service reliability, and identify risks/opportunities. - Risk & Compliance
Manage technology, supply chain, and regulatory risks while ensuring compliance with vendor security standards and audit requirements. - Customer Experience Advocacy
Champion a customer-first approach by improving service reliability, addressing escalations, and integrating feedback into vendor program improvements.
What You’ll Need for Success
- Direct experience managing telco vendor programs with Meraki, Fortinet, Versa, and Cato.
- Strong background in vendor and distributor negotiations, contract management, and SLAs.
- Proven success in building and scaling vendor-aligned managed services programs.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN, SASE, UCaaS, cloud platforms, and networking solutions.
- Financial acumen to manage pricing models, budgets, and cost optimization.
- Strong track record of vendor governance through KPIs, scorecards, and QBRs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Marketing.
