About the Role
As a Workday HCM Principal Consultant, you will work with both business and technical teams. Provides support to Implementation projects, Continuous Value Services (CVS), Application Managed Services (AMS) enhancements across different region. This resource typically reports to a Manager level position within the Delivery organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute the day-to-day activities of Workday HCM project support for a variety of client contracts including staff augmentation, ad-hoc support, and implementation
Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices
Work directly with key business and IT stakeholders to confirm requirements, consider design alternatives, facilitate discussions, and ultimately drive requirements sign-off
Evaluate, communicate, and coordinate the technical impacts of application configuration decisions
Facilitating design workshops with clients for CVS
Design, develop, test, and deploy configurations required to meet business requirements
Facilitate knowledge transfer and educate clients on developing and operating interfaces to and from a SaaS platform
Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns to project management
Mentor other consultants; actively share product knowledge with others to grow our practice
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Must have active Workday Certification – HCM Core
Additional Certifications (Preferred) - Recruiting, Benefits, Absence, Time Tracking, Advanced Compensation and Prism Analytics.
SME of at least 1 Workday module
Strong Workday Implementation experience
Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously
Ability to identify and analyze areas of risk and develop plans to minimize
Strong consulting and presentation skills with the ability to effectively manage client expectations
Ability to work in diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams.
Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, growing ecosystem.
