The Workday Absence & Time Tracking Consulting Services Senior Manager should be a “go to” practice leader, expected to provide expert guidance to the Consulting management team and their subsequent team members. This individual will assist the sales team with sales activities, such as orals, estimations, and Statements of Work (SOWs). This person works closely with Engagement Managers, Project Managers, Managing Consultants, and leads, and acts as a liaison between the Consulting team and executive management. This person will assist in identifying business needs and ensuring that the work/life balance of our consultants is monitored and adjusted appropriately.
Responsibilities:
Project Oversight:
Oversight responsibility for Workday projects across the practice.
Oversee and assist engagement/project managers and team members when needed to identify project needs, reduce risk and develop solutions and strategies.
Sales Support:
Support the RFP response and pursuit process for Consulting work.
Team Leadership:
Promote a team-oriented, challenging, and innovative work environment.
Drive team and individuals to achieve high client satisfaction levels.
Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients and within the company; can build consensus and achieve goals through influence.
Ability to build trust-based relationship and identify and foster business development opportunities.
People Development:
Perform role of mentor and coach.
Analyze team skills and identify for cross training.
Advise management team on team members’ level of expertise.
Additional Responsibilities:
Review estimates for sales opportunities.
Review SOWs for language and accuracy.
Attend Orals and prospect meetings.
Skills & Requirements:
Possess 5-7 years of Workday (or other ERP) Consulting implementation experience.
Workday Absence & Time Tracking certifications required.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Required characteristics: fast learner, detail oriented, decisive, and enjoy fast paced work environments.
Must work well within and across teams to get things accomplished.
Salary and Other Compensation
