Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of IT, with specialized expertise in CRM, Marketing and eCommerce to join our team. The ideal candidate is an experienced and polished leader with exceptional communication skills, highly collaborative, with deep knowledge of Salesforce, and proven experience building highly effective teams. This role will oversee lead to cash functions for B2C, B2B, and B2B2C businesses.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for marketing, eCommerce, sales and service initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Manage and optimize the Salesforce platform, including Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.
- Provide marketing and ecommerce leadership across multiple platforms, including HubSpot, Salesforce, Eloqua, Adobe Commerce, WordPress, and Shopify.
- Plan and manage budgets for staff and software.
- Manage multiple teams with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities including managers, project managers, architects, developers, administrators, business analysts, and other technical staff.
- Build and maintain healthy relationships with executives, presidents of our ecosystems, VP and Directors of Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, product managers, shared service leaders, and technology leaders across Colibri.
- Mentor and develop employees providing career growth opportunities, coaching people to perform well, and effectively eliminating unacceptable performance.
- Build and manage healthy relationships with vendors, reviewing SOWs, performance of vendors, leading the evaluation and selection of new vendors, and respectfully terminating contracts.
- Produce accurate and timely reporting of project status and team performance, including identifying and managing risks, issues, and changes.
- Other duties as necessary to meet the team or company needs.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Able to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Well versed in ecommerce, CRM and marketing technologies, including industry best practices.
- 10+ years of experience managing a technical team, including hiring, developing, and terminating.
- 7+ years of Salesforce experience with increasing responsibility and technical capability.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience required.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship building.
- Excellent organization and follow-through skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with limited daily supervision.
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of Salesforce Sales & Service cloud, Data and Marketing cloud, Commerce cloud, Einstein and Agentforce technology.
- Salesforce Administrator level knowledge of user roles, security, system configuration, integrations, sandbox management, and troubleshooting support tickets.
- One or more Salesforce certifications.
- Hands on experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence, including setting up and managing boards and reports.
- Experience with multiple marketing and website technologies, such as HubSpot, Adobe, Oracle, Salesforce, and WordPress.
- Experience working through mergers & acquisitions, integrating new companies using play books
