Senior SIP Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior SIP Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in JavaScript (Node.js) and/or Go, to join our telecom solutions team. The role involves working on high-load VoIP and telecom platforms, designing system architecture, and participating in integrations with European telecom partners.

Requirements:

7+ years of commercial software development experience
Strong experience with JavaScript (Node.js) and/or Go
Practical understanding of telecom / VoIP, including SIP protocol
Experience with call routing, signaling, and debugging SIP traces (SIP INVITE, ACK, BYE, RTP, etc.)
Experience with Drachtio or similar SIP frameworks is a strong advantage
Hands-on experience with system architecture and designing scalable solutions
Ability to work independently, analyze requirements, and propose technical solutions

English — Conversational English skills

Willingness and ability to travel within Europe (UK, Germany) for on-site integrations

Responsibilities:

Design and develop SIP-based telecom services using JavaScript (Node.js) or Go
Improve existing architecture and ensure high availability and reliability of services
Investigate SIP signaling flows and troubleshoot issues using logs and tracing tools
Collaborate closely with backend and frontend teams
Mentor mid-level engineers and support knowledge sharing within the team
Ensure high code quality, testing coverage, and adherence to engineering best practices
