The SharePoint Consultant will provide expert-level support, administration, and consultancy for Microsoft SharePoint environments (on-premises and/or SharePoint Online within Microsoft 365). The role requires advanced troubleshooting and incident resolution as well as delivering further enhancements through change to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across SharePoint, Office 365, Teams, and integrated systems.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.
- Manage and maintain SharePoint farms (on-premises) and/or SharePoint Online environments.
- Configure, monitor, and optimize performance, security, and availability.
- Manage site collections, permissions, content databases, and service applications.
- Support migration projects (on-prem to SharePoint Online, tenant-to-tenant, or upgrades).
- Experience developing and supporting custom solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx), TypeScript, React, and modern web technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online).
- Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SharePoint
- Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server (2016/2019).
- Knowledge of SharePoint architecture, service applications, and administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online).
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI).
- Experience working with ticketing systems and SLA-driven environments.
