The Role
We are seeking an Adaptive Learning Enablement Manager to join our Revenue Enablement & Operations team. This high-impact role will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of training programs, from conceptualization and design to execution and evaluation. You will not only lead the creation of dynamic, AI-powered training experiences but also manage the full scope of projects to ensure seamless delivery. You will design personalized onboarding and continuous learning experiences, including pre-boarding, onboarding, post-boarding, and in-person bootcamps. Your ability to be a strong program and project manager will be critical as you balance multiple initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure that our training programs are delivered on time and meet business goals. This role also includes integrating AI into our learning environment to enhance program effectiveness and personalize the learning experience for each sales rep. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to lead projects from start to finish while continuously innovating our learning programs to meet the evolving needs of our teams.
To be eligible for this role, you must be based in Austin, TX or New York City and will be expected to go into the office on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays.
You Will
- AI-Enhanced New Hire Training Program: Lead the development and delivery of adaptive new hire training programs, including pre-boarding materials, formal onboarding sessions, post-boarding follow-ups, and in-person bootcamps. Integrate AI tools to personalize the learning experience and track progress efficiently, ensuring new hires ramp quickly and effectively.
- Adaptive Learning Course Development: Build adaptive learning courses tailored to the needs of our revenue organization. Leverage AI-powered platforms (e.g. WorkRamp) and CMS tools to create courses that adjust based on learner performance and behaviors. Continuously improve content and learning paths using data-driven insights from AI analytics.
- AI Integration in Training: Spearhead the integration of AI tools into our learning programs. From personalizing learning paths for individual reps to automating content creation, AI will play a central role in your strategy. You will manage the implementation of AI-based technologies, monitor their effectiveness, and continuously refine them based on data insights.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with the broader Revenue Enablement & Ops crew, as well as with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams. Ensure training content is aligned with current product messaging and sales strategies. Coordinate with HR/recruiting on pre-boarding logistics and with managers on post-boarding performance support.
- Program Measurement & Continuous Improvement: Use AI and data analytics to measure training effectiveness and adjust content accordingly. You will track performance indicators (e.g., ramp-up times, course completion rates) and manage ongoing improvements to training programs. Regularly update stakeholders on the progress of training initiatives, focusing on outcomes, ROI, and AI-driven enhancements.
You Have
- Program & Project Management Expertise: Proven experience as a program or project manager, ideally in a learning & development or sales enablement context. You are comfortable managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables. You can independently manage the entire project lifecycle and ensure on-time and high-quality execution. Project Management certifications (PMP, CAPM, or similar) are highly preferred.
- AI-Driven Training Design: Strong experience in leveraging AI tools to create personalized learning paths and enhance training effectiveness. You should have hands-on experience with AI-powered learning platforms and an understanding of how to use these technologies to improve learning outcomes.
- LMS & CMS Proficiency: Experience with Learning Management Systems (especially WorkRamp) and Content Management Systems (CMS) is required. You should be able to manage and organize content effectively, ensuring training materials are accessible, up-to-date, and relevant.
- Adaptive Learning Program Development: Proven experience in building and implementing adaptive learning programs that are scalable and personalized. You should have a deep understanding of how adaptive learning principles can be applied to create dynamic training experiences that adjust to the individual needs and progression of each learner.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to leverage AI and data to evaluate the success of training initiatives and identify areas for improvement. You are comfortable working with data to measure program success and continuously refine your approach to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
- Communication & Facilitation: Outstanding communication and presentation skills. You are comfortable leading both in-person and virtual training sessions, and you can distill complex concepts into clear, actionable insights. Strong writing skills are essential for creating instructional content and training documentation.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: A team player with strong interpersonal skills. You can work with cross-functional teams to understand their needs, incorporate feedback, and ensure alignment between training programs and business goals. You excel at managing multiple stakeholders and driving consensus to meet project milestones.
- Passion for Learning & Innovation: A passion for innovation in learning, particularly around the integration of AI in training. You are constantly seeking new ways to improve learning experiences and stay ahead of industry trends. Your growth mindset and curiosity drive you to experiment with new technologies and methodologies in training.
Preferred Qualifications (nice-to-have)
- Certifications: Additional certifications in training, instructional design, or adult learning (e.g., CPLP/ATD credential) would be advantageous.
- Sales Enablement Experience: Experience in a Sales Enablement or Revenue Operations role, ideally with exposure to the needs and challenges of sales reps in a more technical sale.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g. Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) and collaborative tools (Google Workspace, Slack, project management software) for managing the development and delivery of training programs.
- Innovative AI Projects: A proven track record of implementing AI-driven training initiatives, such as automating content creation, personalizing learning paths, or using AI to analyze learner performance.

The annual anticipated base salary range for U.S. candidates for this role is listed in USD below. Salary is one component of the Cockroach Labs’ Total Rewards package, which also includes, for each employee: stock options, medical insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, life and disability insurance, funds towards professional development resources, flexible paid time off, 11 paid holidays a year, 10 paid sick days a year, paid parental leave, a 401(k) plan, and wellbeing benefits.
We set standard ranges for all U.S.-based roles based on function, level, and geographic location, benchmarked against similar stage growth companies. Actual salaries may vary and fall outside of this range depending on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, geographic location, skills, experience, and competencies. In addition, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted.
Salaries for candidates outside the U.S. will vary based on local compensation structures.
