This is why we’re looking for a product centric Engineering Manager that is passionate about leading innovative teams, breaking down problems and balancing progress, scalability and technical excellence and efficiency in their teams.

Each Engineering team is focused on a different part of our product and each team consists of truly cross functional teams led by the trio of Engineering Manager, Product Manager and Product Designer to ensure close and constant collaboration throughout. Teams can consist of full stack engineers or both backend and frontend engineers. All teams are supported by a QA. Today, teams follow SCRUM with 2-week sprint iterations and a 6-week delivery cycle.

Besides working in the team, each engineering leader is a part of the engineering leadership group which defines how to move our Engineering Organization forward, as well as moulding the operational frameworks with which we execute on the R&D strategy.

What you will do:

  • Manage 2 cross functional teams of software engineers and QA - approx 10-12 people
  • Grow, coach, and develop the team members to help them progress in their careers
  • Be actively involved in hiring engineers for your teams, making sure it’s well-staffed
  • Manage the teams’ delivery
  • Represent the teams in planning and product meetings
  • Work with the rest of the engineering leadership on engineering-wide changes
  • Measure velocity and improve efficiency for the team
  • Drive innovation in engineering processes, strategies and adoption of new technologies
  • Maintain a sustainable, healthy, and collaborative culture aligned with the company values as we navigate through hyper-growth

What we are looking for:

  • Experience of serving in an Engineering Manager role
  • Experience with managing a team who built an AI enabled product is a plus
  • Strong technical background: experience in building complex B2B SaaS products is a plus
  • You are highly organized. With many people doing many things in a fast-moving company, strong organizational skills—both for yourself and for the team—will be required
  • You are able to weigh several and often conflicting constraints and make rapid decisions
  • You have the skills to align people with a common goal
  • You are direct but careful with feedback, both given and received
  • You have worked with different delivery methodologies and are able to apply these based on the teams’ maturity
