We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-oriented PKI/Yubikey Systems Engineerto join our team. The role focuses on deploying, configuring, and maintaining PKI systems and YubiKey implementations to ensure secure access across enterprise environments.
To be considered for this position, US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance is required. This is a funded position and is contingent upon verification of a security clearance prior to starting with Cloudshape.
Primary Duties Include but Are Not Limited To:
Design, deploy, and manage PKI systems, certificate authorities, and digital certificates.
Implement and support YubiKey and other hardware-based authentication solutions.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize PKI and authentication system performance.
Collaborate with IT, security, and application teams to integrate PKI and YubiKey solutions.
Automate certificate issuance, renewal, and revocation processes using scripts or management tools.
Maintain documentation, generate compliance reports, and support security audits.
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers on PKI and authentication best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- 5 - 8 years of experience
- An ability to work independently, multi-task, and communicate effectively will be required for this role.
- US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance
- Strong understanding of cryptography, digital certificates, and authentication protocols.
- Experience with YubiKey, smart cards, or other multi-factor authentication devices.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows server environments, networking, and security principles.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
