We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-oriented Information System Security Officer to join our team. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with security policies, standards, and regulatory frameworks while safeguarding critical IT assets.
To be considered for this position, US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance is required. This is a funded position and is contingent upon verification of a security clearance prior to starting with Cloudshape.
Primary Duties Include but Are Not Limited To:
Implement and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls across information systems.
Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and system security audits.
Monitor and report on system compliance with regulatory requirements such as NIST, FISMA, or ISO 27001.
Review and approve system configurations, access controls, and security documentation.
Support incident response, including identifying, reporting, and mitigating security incidents.
Collaborate with IT, network, and application teams to maintain a secure environment.
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior security personnel.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- 5 + years of experience
- An ability to work independently, multi-task, and communicate effectively will be required for this role.
- US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with system monitoring, network security, and access control mechanisms.
