We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-oriented FireEye Systems Engineerto join our team. This role focuses on protecting enterprise environments from cyber threats, optimizing security operations, and supporting incident response efforts.
To be considered for this position, US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance is required. This is a funded position and is contingent upon verification of a security clearance prior to starting with Cloudshape.
Primary Duties Include but Are Not Limited To:
Deploy, configure, and maintain FireEye appliances and software solutions.
Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and respond to threats in a timely manner.
Collaborate with IT, network, and security teams to integrate FireEye solutions across the enterprise.
Perform system tuning, updates, and patches to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain documentation, generate reports, and support compliance and audit requirements.
Assist in security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and incident response planning.
Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to junior security engineers.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- 3+ years of experience
- An ability to work independently, multi-task, and communicate effectively will be required for this role.
- US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, and incident response.
- Experience with network security, malware analysis, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Familiarity with scripting or automation for security operations is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
