Slovakia onlyCloudbeds is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to improve and scale their cloud infrastructure on AWS, drive adoption of containerization best practices, and automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform, and strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines and monitoring and observability tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer working hands-on with AWS
- 5+ years of strong Kubernetes and Docker experience, including implementing and scaling EKS platforms at production scale
- Deep expertise with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code and configuration management
- Proven experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Loki, or AWS CloudWatch
- Working knowledge of web application servers (NGINX, Ingress controllers), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Aurora), caching (Redis, Memcached), and queue technologies (SQS)
- Ability to write Bash and/or Python scripts to automate operational tasks
- Strong Linux system administration skills and solid networking fundamentals
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; comfortable working asynchronously across a globally distributed remote team
