Climate KIC is Europe’s leading climate innovation agency and community, dedicated to turning climate ambitions into systemic action. Our mission is to catalyse systemic change for climate action through innovation, radical collaboration, and place-based approaches. With over 150 global members, including universities, research institutions, cities, NGOs, and startups, we mobilize our community to tackle climate change head-on.

Founded in 2010 with the support of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), Climate KIC plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between climate commitments and actual impacts. Our approach emphasizes collaboration at all levels, fostering a network that drives transformative solutions tailored to local contexts and needs. From implementing climate-resilient strategies in cities to empowering leaders through our Climate Leadership Academy, we aim to inspire collective action and innovation to overcome the challenges posed by climate change. The Climate KIC community is more than a network; it serves as a platform where ideas become action, ensuring that climate resilience becomes entrenched in our societal fabric.
